Player evaluations will be held January 25, 26, 30 and February 1, 2020 at Junior Deputy. Evaluation dates and times for each age group are listed below:

Rookie 7 (seven-year-olds)

Saturday, 1/25 at 2:00 p.m. (Players with last names A to L will eval from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Players with last names M to Z will eval from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.) 

Sunday, 1/26 at 2:00 p.m. (Players with last names A to L will eval from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Players with last names M to Z will eval from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.) 

Thursday, 1/30 at 6:00 p.m. (LAST CALL)

Saturday, 2/1 at 2:00 p.m. (MAKE-UP DATE)

All Rookie 7 evaluations will take place on Hughes Field

Rookie 8 (eight-year-olds)

Saturday, 1/25 at 2:00 p.m. (Players with last names A to L will eval from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Players with last names M to Z will eval from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.)

Thursday, 1/30 at 6:00 p.m. (EVALUATION)

Saturday, 2/1 at 1:00 p.m. (EVALUATION)

All Cal Ripken evaluations will take place on Loftis Field

Babe Ruth (thirteen to fifteen-year-olds)

Babe Ruth evaluation dates and times will be announced soon.

All Babe Ruth evaluations will take place on Dickey Field.

Drafts

All player drafts will occur by February 17, 2020.

Rookie Notes:

All unprotected Rookie 7-8 players are required to attend only one evaluation session in order to be draft eligible. Any player who does not attend a session will be assigned to a team.

Players who are noted as protected on a Head Coach's Team Declaration form will not be evaluated.

All registered Rookie 7-8 players will be selected or assigned to a team.

Cal Ripken Notes:

Any player nine to twelve-years-old not already drafted into a Cal Ripken organization must attend one of the evaluation sessions. Any player who does not attend a session will be assigned to a team.

All registered Cal Ripken players will be selected or assigned to a team.

Babe Ruth Notes:

Any player thirteen to fifteen-years-old not already drafted into a Babe Ruth organization must attend one of the evaluation sessions.

With the exception of player safety issues, all registered Babe Ruth players attending evaluations will be selected to a team.

Spring 2020 Season Calendar:

January 26, 2020 - Indoor practices will begin for players 9 to 15. 

The week of February 17, 2020 - Field practices will begin for players ages 7 to 15.

March 1, 2020 – Park closed for Little Rock Marathon.

The week of March 2, 2020 – Field practices will begin for players ages 4 to 6.

March 30, 2020 – Spring season will begin.

Saturday, April 4, 2020 - Opening Day/Player Introductions for all leagues.

April 10 to April 12, 2020 - Park closed for Good Friday and Easter weekend.

May 9-10, 2020- Park closed for Mother's Day weekend.

May 22 to May 25, 2020 - Park closed for Memorial Day weekend.

May 31, 2019 - Spring Season ends for ages 4 and 5.

June 7, 2020 - Spring Season ends for ages 6, 7, and 8.

June 14, 2019- Spring Season ends for ages 9 to 15.
