2021 Junior Deputy Little League Tournament Teams

In February 2020, Junior Deputy chartered its baseball program with Little League.

Due to COVID-19, Little League canceled all State, Regional, and World Series Tournaments in
2020

In 2021, Little League plans to host State, Regional, and World Series Tournaments.

Junior Deputy plans to enter teams in all seven divisions of the Little League Arkansas State Tournament.

1) Minor – Coach Pitch (ages 7-8)
2) Minor (9-10)
3) Minor (10-11)
4) Major (10-11-12)
5) Intermediate (11-12-13)
6) Junior (12-13-14)
7) Senior (13-14-15-16)

FAQ

Q: Who is eligible to play for Junior Deputy Little League Tournament Teams?

A: Any player 1) with a birthdate in the correct range, 2) that participates in 60% of Junior Deputy league games, with exceptions for high school teams and injuries, and 3) that lives or attends school within Junior Deputy’s boundary map is eligible to participate on a Junior Deputy Little League Tournament Team.

Q: When will Junior Deputy Little League Tournament Teams be selected?

A: Little League rules prohibit the selection of tournament teams by leagues prior to June 1st.

Q: When will Junior Deputy Little League Tournament Teams practice and play?

A: Junior Deputy Tournament Teams will not start practice until after t the Junior Deputy league season ends on June 18th. Arkansas State Tournaments will be held during July. Regional and World Series Tournaments will be held in late July and August.

Q: How many Junior Deputy Little League Tournament Teams may a player be rostered on?

A: Despite the overlap in age ranges, players may only be rostered to one tournament team roster.

Q: How many players will be on a Junior Deputy Little League Tournament Team?

A: Little League tournament teams, in most divisions, require a minimum of twelve players and a maximum of fourteen players, this means Junior Deputy will have approximately 84 to 98 roster spots available on its tournament team rosters.

Q: Are players that participate on travel ball teams eligible to participate on Junior Deputy Little League Tournament Teams?

A: Yes. Travel ball players are eligible for Junior Deputy Little League Tournament Teams so long as they meet the age, 60% league participation requirement, and live or attend school within the boundary map.

Q: When will additional information be provided about Junior Deputy Little League Tournament Teams?

A: Prior to the start of spring 2021 league games, Junior Deputy will announce its evaluation and selection process for managers, coaches, and players for Junior Deputy Little League Tournament Teams.
